Taking a somewhat tedious task and turning it into a enjoyable moment while cutting up the sticker icons to be placed on the dial for our School Of Metarules [SOM] gaming project is exactly what led to the discovery of these unexpected and delightful geometric shapes. When rearranged, they seemed to form most interesting shapes, reminiscent of African art, Bauhaus and the phantom of the opera. I chose to position them on the carpet for contrast as the dark fabric in the background; possible prelude to a future technique perhaps or just simple plain old fun mixed with inspiration…!
