Byoona — to mean everything — is a tripartite Art Series shown in three acts, a Capsule Collection, Short Film and Interior Architecture Elements developed organically over the course of the year.
A limited edition Capsule Collection piloted this robust Art Series and was showcased at the artist’s residence on 18.12.23.
It featured off cut fabrics, end of line and organic textile [barkcloth, denim jeans] and felled wood from an on site mango tree as part of transition from body to motion and within space. Repurposed and reimagined as garments and set design to extend their life which would otherwise have been discarded.
The series was conceived in response to the design waste generated by the making process over the course of five years by our studio practice.
This project is a living experiment in slow design.
